Promoting healthy eye behaviors with strategies informed by science, we elevate quality of life, helping individuals perform their best and maintain independence.
Vision Essence developed the first comprehensive Canadian line of
clean-label, professionally dispensed ocular nutrition products with and without zinc to address macular disease. With a focus on age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic eye disease, the two leading causes of blindness over and under age 65, respectively,
we've enjoyed the support of top Canadian retina specialists
and primary eye care practitioners.

Vision Essence is prescribed and dispensed exclusively by eye care professionals in Canada and the USA. With the right tools, we enable eye care practitioners to help their patients take control of their ocular health and wellness by encouraging healthy eye habits to improve visual function and quality of life in the face of retinal disease.
SPECIAL FORMULAS
Specific formulas – without Zinc – for those patients who have a family history of AMD or may be genetically predisposed to eye disease.

Brannen Hinton
CEO
Brannen’s experience in eye care begins in his family’s optometric practice on Florida’s Sun Coast. Following 4 years studying Interdisciplinary Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa, he joined Carl Zeiss in a technical sales and business development role, later attending the OSU Spears School of Business. Brannen’s science and business background supported the early expansion of a notable ocular nutrition firm to Canada. Here he meets, Jen, his wife and ultimate business partner, together founding Vision Essence, Inc. in 2018 in Canada. Brannen appreciates the mentors and brilliant scientists who’ve helped develop his deep understanding of the pharmacogenomics of ocular nutrition, leading to award-winning study design concepts.
Jennifer Jurinic
Principal Managing Director
Jen has enjoyed a 22 year career entirely in healthcare, concentrating on vision care, dental, and alternative health and wellness treatments, She brings knowledge of international strategy, business development, operations and sales management roles. Her professional experience spans high-tech start-ups and global healthcare organizations.
Jen holds a BA from the University of Toronto and a 1st degree black belt in Shotokan karate, one of her many passions.
